Our Vision
to address systemic issues with strategic, impactful solutions that empower and equip marginalized communities with the resources needed to drive lasting change.
Building a Future Rooted in Our Values
At PCS, we are creating something of our own—something that holds our values while getting real work done. We understand how difficult it is to find an organization that truly aligns with what we believe in, so we decided to build it ourselves.
Who We Are
PCS was founded by people who have been in the trenches—organizing, working, and fighting for change. We met through our shared work in social justice spaces, political engagement, and community-building. Our friendship and deep trust in each other are at the core of how we operate. We know each other’s strengths, lean on each other when needed, and build on each other’s ideas.
Why Now?
We got tired of working for everyone else. Looking for jobs after grad school, we saw the same patterns—dead-end roles, underpaid positions, and institutions resistant to real change. Academia was violent, traditional workplaces weren’t built for people like us, and we knew we had the capacity to create something better. We decided to take control over our work, our time, and the impact we make.
What We Do
We apply our skills, experiences, and knowledge to work that matters, including:
Organizational Growth & Strategy
Equity, Impact & Community Engagement
Systems Change & Environmental Justice Consulting
Communications & Brand Storytelling
Our Values
Collaboration – This work is built on trust, respect, and shared experiences. We know the value of community and collective action.
Equity – We are committed to ensuring that our work is accessible, just, and rooted in fairness.
Creativity & Innovation – We take an outside-the-box approach to problem-solving, applying our skills in multiple arenas.
Fun – We do serious work, but we believe in bringing joy into the process.
What Drives Us
We’ve worked on impactful projects that showcase the power of our collaboration, from canvassing political campaigns during COVID to securing grant funding for grassroots initiatives. We’ve worked in violent institutions, fought for change in spaces that didn’t want us, and supported each other every step of the way. PCS is a space where we can finally do work that feels meaningful, action-oriented, and generative.
Looking Ahead
As we continue to grow, we see PCS deepening our relationships with nonprofits, political spaces, community organizers, and artists. We are excited about expanding our team, taking on a diverse range of projects, and making an impact in the places we care about.
We’re building something real, and we’re just getting started.
